For me, visual storytelling is a natural extension of the Huglig philosophy. A way to capture atmosphere, preserve moments, and share the beauty found in seasonal living, meaningful gatherings, florals, and bridal design. Inspired by the Danish idea of hygge, my content is shaped by warmth, intention, and a sense of connection, translating experiences into imagery that feels both authentic and inviting. Through photography, video, and thoughtful storytelling, I create visual narratives that celebrate the details often overlooked: the changing seasons, the glow of candlelight, the texture of flowers, and the quiet moments that make an occasion memorable. The Danish word of HYGGELIG (often spelled as HYGGE in its noun form) refers to a cosy, charming, or special moment that brings a sense of comfort and contentment. It embodies the idea of creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people.
Hygge can be about simple pleasures, like enjoying cup of hot chocolate by the fire place, spending quality time with friends and family or even just taking moment to relax and appreciate your surroundings. It is all about fostering a sense of well-being and happiness in everyday life.
The word HUG refers to the act of embracing someone tightly with your arms, typically as a gesture of affection, comfort, or greeting. Hugs can convey warmth, love and support, and they are often shared between friends, family or romantic partners. Hugs can also provide emotional comfort during difficult times, making them a simple yet powerful way to express care and connection.
Together, the name Huglig reflects the heart of the brand combining the warmth and intimacy of a hug with the cozy, comforting spirit of hygge. Every floral arrangement, bespoke bridal gown, and carefully styled dinner or gathering is created with this ethos in mind : to inspiremoments of joy, connection, and well-being. Whether it’s a bride finding her dream dress, a table adorned with seasonal blooms, or an intimate candlelit supper with loved ones, Huglig is about crafting experiences that make people feel truly held, cherished, and at home in the beauty of the moment.

“I was lucky enough to work with Camilla over two aspects of my wedding. She created the flowers for an evening of my wedding whilst also designing and bringing to life a completely bespoke second wedding dress look.
In regards to the dress, Camilla was truly amazing to work with every step of the way. From the early design stages to the final fitting, her warm and creative energy was perfect. The dress fit like a glove and felt so unique to me and my wedding. She even created bespoke elements to accompany the dress for the traditional Greek Cypriot money dance. She was calm, creative, and a true visionary, bringing my dress dreams to life.
The flower arrangements and tablescaping was a further reflection of her talent. Camilla knew we had an overarching lemon theme throughout the wedding, where she not only nailed the brief, but she came up with creative and innovative ways of incorporating lemons into the arrangements.
